The Poonfile

I’m a writer, artist, and creative director who approaches serious topics unseriously through illustration, interactive media, and video essays. My projects examine themes of perception vs self-perception, mental health in a mental world, and the healing power of all things cozy and cute.

After studying Creative Writing and Pre-Med at Amherst College, I worked in pharmaceutical advertising as a copywriter/creative director at agencies like Grey, Area 23, and H4B Chelsea for more than a decade. In 2022, I decided to explore my interest in visual arts by enrolling in the School of Visual Arts’ MFA Visual Narrative program, where I started developing my first game, To BeLoved.

I’m currently looking for collaborators and opportunities in interactive media writing and/or illustration.
